Fellows Program
The Demand Institute Fellows Program is a truly unique opportunity for experts to spend 12 months as a Senior Fellow within one of our three Centers: Leadership, Evolution, or Science.
Senior Fellows will work in close collaboration with our own Demand Institute leadership team and Strategic Center Leaders to drive our most important and innovative knowledge-building investments during the year.
We expect that Senior Fellows will make accelerated progress in developing new knowledge while also creating new professional relationships, as The Demand Institute Fellows will quickly build a global network through this program. They will have numerous opportunities for interaction with our Members and Leadership Roundtables thoughout the year.
Senior Fellow Profile
Senior Fellows will typically be drawn from executive positions at major corporations, faculty at premier research universities and/or leaders from government agencies.
Senior Fellows will possess a distinctive expertise and passion for understanding the interplay between consumer desire, the consumer economy, and ongoing innovations that continuously redefine what consumers need and want across industries and countries.
As a group, Senior Fellows will bring highly curious and inquisitive minds coupled to necessary conceptual, strategic, analytical, creative and operational skills. The exact skill mix will be aligned to Center's agenda.
Depending on the specific passion of the Senior Fellow, we will mutually decide which of the three Centers (Leadership, Evolution, or Science) should be the primary affiliation. However, we will create opportunities for Senior Fellows across the Centers to exchange ideas, opinions and insights.
Senior Fellow Program Structure and Nominations
Because this is a rotating fellowship, we will ask the sponsoring institution to cover the Fellow's compensation and expenses while in residence.
The organization underwriting a Senior Fellow will be directly shaping the work of a specific Demand Institute Center, with the expectation that the organization views this Center's work and research as incredibly valuable to their own long-term learning and capability-building agenda.
We expect each and every Senior Fellow to receive a distinctive and memorable experience that is an outcome of working alongside an incredibly talented and global community of experts from many disciplines.
